Celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry, and Sandra Bullock have all been seen wearing Helen’s original designs. Helen Ficalora is a Long Island, New York native and grew up helping her family run the Breakers motel in Montauk, New York. When Helen’s husband was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, she wanted to start a business that she was not only passionate about but one to put all of her love into. This led to her founding her own brand in 1999 to follow her passions and support her family. Her first “store” was a little boutique at the motel consisting of buying and reselling jewelry, eventually including some of her own original designs. From there it evolved into opening the brand’s first official storefront. Helen Ficalora has since expanded into six boutiques in the United States along with an online presence. The business quickly grew by word of mouth and through gifting, which made her jewelry known amongst numerous celebrities. Helen personally designed a round disc and decided to make it into personalized necklaces by embossing letters into the metal. When she first introduced her Alphabet charm, her brand name quickly became a staple in the fashion industry, and kicked off the monogram trend. The brand continues to bring her devoted fans quality designs and timeless pieces today. Her beloved charms remain a fan favorite amongst new and loyal customers.
